Kevin O'Rourke

Kevin is delighted to play keys for Live Forever. Kevin was taught piano from a young age by his dad, who played by ear, and also took private classical lessons after school until well into his teens. Kevin has played in several original bands throughout the 2000s and 2010s and always took an active part in song writing both musically and lyrically. These bands included Smoked Glass and Underclass which gigged constantly around the venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow and had an online following during the Myspace era.

In 2015 Kevin joined and helped form the tribute band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Carpet. He was Oasis daft in the 90s so this was a dream come true and he still plays in that band to this day touring around the UK and Ireland.

He is huge fan of the 60s and 90s music with favorite bands including The Beatles, Kinks, Moody Blues, Stereophonics, Manics, Blur, Catatonia and of course Oasis. Outside of those decades he is a big fan of Queen and Blondie.

Kevin also enjoying playing guitar at open mics where he will often sing his original songs to the songwriters clubs and open mics that specialize in mainly original material.
