Matt Weston

Matt was lucky enough to study drums with the same teacher that helped give both Alan and Steve White their careers, so he’s well qualified to reproduce those authentic Oasis drum parts. Oasis were a huge influence on Matt’s early playing, with his first live performance on drums being a rendition of Wonderwall, only a few days after its release in 1995. 

Since then, Matt has had a successful career performing all over the UK and abroad, lending his skills to various tribute shows and bands. Alongside this he keeps a busy drum tutoring practice going from his home county of Essex.

Matt says, “I’m super excited to be involved with such a show that has so much potential. It’s also an honour to be the show’s musical director and making sure that we do the material justice!”
